apartment exploded in southern Ukraine

Large explosion destroyed the apartment building in southern Ukraine Wednesday (24/12) night, killing 11 people including a child and at least 40 people missing.

Emergency Ministry of Ukraine, on Thursday (25/12), said 20 residents have dievakuasi's apartment in a live situation.

The apartment was destroyed five of the Black Sea coastal city, Yevpatoria, in the Crimea peninsula. "Around 40 flats allegedly destroyed or damaged," said a ministry jurubicara it.

The cause of explosion that occurred Wednesday night was not specified, but most likely because it contains oxygen explosion container stored in the building, said jurubicara it.

Emergency Minister Volodymyr Shandra told Ukrainian television: "There are around 40 to 80 people who are in the ruins of the building." Officials said, the explosion collapsed the walls create two punch to the entrance building. Equipment crane is used to perform rescue and aid.
