Obama and the Islamic World

In the campaign, the President of the United States selected, Barack Obama, promised to visit Muslim countries to express their vision.

Once elected, he again emphasized the importance of U.S. relations with Muslim countries. There are a number of Muslim countries that will be the first purpose of his visit, namely Egypt, Turkey, Qatar, and Indonesia. Hits it is very important, especially in the framework of direct vision of the government to listen to Obama to the Islamic world.

So far the dominant attitude of the Islamic world against Obama split in two. First, optimistic attitude. In many opportunities, the Islamic world in general welcomed its Obama as a step forward for democracy and political policies in the Middle East.

Hashem Soleh (2008) states, Obama is the hope for all parties to tegaknya democracy in the Middle East. In principle, Obama will change the design of democracy in general. Democracy is real and substantive has been providing the possibility of changes.
